Health Connect UX/UI Project

Health Connect is a group project exploring new ways of approaching patient
access to medical records. We focus on creating a unique and friendly user experience for patients when accessing their electronic health records. Health
Connect offers secure online access to help users manage  health records
and communicate with their physicians.

Through research we found out that the primary active medical site user was between 46-64 years of age, therefore Linda Hunt was born. In order to develop a proper task flow we decided Linda have high cholesterol and hypothyroidism. Using our site map we decided that these would be the appropriate steps that Linda would have to take to navigate through the website to get to her test results.
Wireframes -phase one. Getting the information organized via desktop.
Phase Two - laying down information via mobile experience. Keeping in mind our demographic is an older user, resulting in a design with larger body copy, and emphasizing hierarchy.

Large Sun-kissed hero image used as visual impact to help promote optimism.
We went with a natural color scheme. Limiting the color palette to soft, desaturated hues created a peaceful and comforting state of mind.
PATIENT SECURITY
Health Connect ensures your information is kept private and secure. All messaging is securely done while the user is logged into the website.

SIMPLIFIED DESIGN
Adhering to the user interaction principals, the core content becomes easily understandable to users.

VISUAL IMPACT
Using a limited color palette and visual layers to create a sense of depth, hierarchy and legibility were the primary focus.
