For this project, we were tasked to translate a reading into graphic forms. The reading chosen was Bruno Munari's "What is a Designer?" He discusses about form and function. I chose to use the objects he used in the text to compare and show how objects have changed in its form over time to suit its function, whereby the creations we have now are ones that has the best form that fits its function.
This is done through creating a catalog of items. I took inspiration from vintage IKEA catalogs hence influencing the colour and the way the catalog is formatted. Through this project, I also learnt more about magazine layout.
