Building Complex - Fox

Shimon Haber originally designed this project back in 1987 during his stay in London and for many years this concept was forgoten till Shimon Haber decided to present it to clients fron New Jersey and they decided to build the buildings. Originaly designed as a place for living of a small community, by the words of Shimon Haber this concept symbolizes some sort of the physical transition from past to future through the present. It is a transition between opened and closed, back and front, up and down... The building complex is 500 feet long wall of thick, buildings facing east side of the hill. In order to make a free flow of wind, a narrow gap between each building of the wall has been designed as a separate element. For this project Shimon Haber was awarded with a design of the month by New Jersey magazine Katastrofa.
