The pattern was developed for a new fashion boutique in Bahrain, named Rose du Monde, to be used as the brand's signature pattern. The client had a very clear vision of what she wanted to achieve and what elements she wanted incorporated in the final design, so the main challenge was in creating a cohesive flow and balance to bring together her ideas. The process was challenging but extremely enjoyable, and I'm really happy with the result.

Parts of the development process - the Initial sketches and micron pen clean-up of the main element. The client's mood board included images of medusae flowers, ribbons, circular patterns, leaves and swirls. I tried to bring all of these elements into a single main element that would be the base for the final repeat.

Experimenting with color options. The client wanted strong, bold and intense colors to communicate power and confidence.
