I was asked to design a Forever Stamp using an animal of my choice. I chose a smaller more common animal, the goldfish.
In making my design I wanted to focus closely on the small fish and its flowing fins. I did not want to enfesize the bowl or where it live but how big its surroundings are in comparasion. In my first variation I chose the bright bold colors of oranges and blues and in the second chose more of a coral, aqua variation inspired by a Florida or 1980s feel.
