a rotoscope animation by
Man Ling
Negative self-talk can be a debilitating force that hinders personal growth and well-being.
The main focus of this project is to utilize the medium of rotoscope animation to convey the message that taking a break from negative self-talk is crucial for well-being.
This animation serves as my final year project at Taylor's University.
OVERVIEW
The animation portrays individuals from diverse backgrounds, even superheroes, who experience moments when their inner critic emerges. Whether pursuing their passions, engaging in tasks they thought they excelled at, or simply going about their day, negative self-talk can arise.
However, it emphasizes the importance of taking a break, acknowledging the presence of that harsh voice, and realizing that it may not always reflect the truth.
By pausing, taking a deep breath, and persisting, they discover the joy of the moment and witness things falling into place, ultimately finding strength to succeed.
