This was my first product design project -

Third prize in The competition of product design for the blindness 2005.

 

Considering every small detail in daily life, we could enhance people's confidence when they are suffering illness for eyes unfortunately. 

I would like to enable them to handle things themselves instead of asking help from others.

 

This design makes use of floating mechanism for them to pour water into the bottle without spilling out as they can not see the bottle is full. It is an upgraded funnel for blindness. Funnel gives them bigger hole for pouring simultaneously a little ball will jump out when the bottle is full. Grab the funnel and place the thumb near the ball to feel it.
