Carpets...Almost everyone was asked by their parents to take the carpets out into the yard, shake the dust off them, or even take them to the river and wash them... ))) This is also fun... The surfaces around us have patterns, textures and textures. Something is created by human hands and has a geometric rhythm, the other is created by nature with its multifacetedness and metaphysical aesthetics. This mix creates modern graphics and patterns in my head...
The series of carpets is based on simple graphic techniques: a point, a line, a spot, and the motifs are collected from various interesting subjects that have come into my field of vision many times: a rusty beam, which I often saw at construction sites and metallurgical plants; notebooks in a cell or in a diagonal line at school often loomed in my eyes; abstract black spots, similar to drops of ink on a sheet of paper; graph paper, with which we worked in the lessons on the construction of fonts; the free line that the graphics teacher demanded from us; the whimsical perforation in grandma's pasta colander; gradients using a linear rhythm, and the situation when you like two colors, but you can't choose. The carpet greatly eased the "suffering" of choosing).
