O Chamado de Cthulhu foi desenvolvido durante a disciplina Trabalho de conclusão de curso do curso de Desenho Industrial: Programação visual da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), sob orientação do professor Volnei Matté. O projeto, que utiliza do texto de H.P. Lovecraft: The Call of Cthulhu, tem o objetivo de explorar elementos dentro da narrativa gráfica de maneira a interferir na dramaticidade e sensibilidade da história.

The Call of Cthulhu has been developed during the course of Design at the Federal University of Santa Maria (RS, Brazil), under Professor Volnei Matté orientation. The project, which uses the text of HP Lovecraft: The Call of Cthulhu, have the objective to explore elements within the graphic narrative in order to interfere with the sensitivity and dramaticity of history.
