Motion Loops
Motion Loops were a series of animation loops and animation shorts made for Instagram which sometimes spoke about the zeitgeist and other times reflected the time I was going through.

1. The Earth is on Fire (and we put her there)

When trying to create this piece of animation my intention was to use a playful style of animation, which is Claymation and merge it with a darker, more immediate message about our climate crisis.
2. The Spiderverse Portal Gun

This was a concept for a 3d model of a portal gun taken through a custom spiderverse shader.
3. Hammering the Brain (Marathi: डोक्याला शॉट देऊ नये)

This loop was made to literalise a saying in marathi "डोक्याला शॉट देऊ नये" which basically means don't hammer my head, figuratively meaning don't irritate me. But the image that the saying created was so literal that it was hard to resist creating it. The mixed media / collage style of the piece is also emblematic of it's cheeky, ironically detached personality of it.
4. The Cussing FlappyBird

So I designed a really cute flappybird-like TV character. And now that I had that character, I thought it'd be hilarious to attach cuss words that you here in intense traffic in India. The character design was completely dissonant with the sound which is why this animation strikes humor.
5. The Overthinker

This tried to illustrate the feeling of overthinking and the character design is done with an intention of ambiguity.
6. Monday to Friday to Monday

This piece tries to illustrate the rhythm of weekdays and weekends.
7. Angry Clay

The Angry clay is a humorous piece inspired from the Anger character in the Inside Out.
8. Room of a Teenager

In an attempt to show a room of a teenager which also carries a feeling of what's going through his mind, I made this. The hand-drawn aesthetic is to make you feel like someone just scribbled this on their notebook.
9. Jellyfish Submarine

This is a design of a submarine with a character and texture and feeling of a Jellyfish.
