We were commissioned by Aviva Maya Design to create realistic images, environment, and assets to best showcase and promote the stunning jewelry collection they created for L’Union Locale des Artisans de Ménaka, in Mali.

As part of the Artisans for Peace project (under the USAID-funded Mali Peacebuilding, Stabilization, and Reconciliation program), Aviva Maya Design was hired to design and develop collections for five different artisanal businesses. The 12-month pilot project aims to empower youth and strengthen their ability to resist recruitment by violent extremist organizations due to their productive employment in the craft sector.

The collection includes earrings, chokers, pendants, and cuffs made from wood, silver, gemstones, and leather - all in consideration with the techniques and capabilities of these artisans as well as the market they are located in.
