In this project I wanted to refocus and reframe the view from a green space in Providence, RI in order to shift visitors attention from a large parking lot, to a view of the Providence skyline and the space above it.
I created the piece using a modularly designed armature fabricated out of bamboo, in order to keep the piece light and easily transportable to the site.
As the viewer approaches the piece, the viewfinder appears to scroll up a segment of the Providence skyline, eventually setteling on a view made pure out of sky.
