Studio 7 by Cartier / Portrait Exhibition

Studio 7 was a portrait exhibition celebrating the Maison’s seven most iconic creations across watches and jewellery: Trinity, Love, Juste Un Clou, Santos, Tank, Panthère and Ballon Bleu.

For the very first time, an incredible show of Cartier stories were told through a photographic journey, from past to the present. Located on the ground floor of the Saatchi Gallery, the exhibition ran across four galleries from Friday 23rd July to Sunday 8th August.

Gallery 1 - Legends
Gallery 1 exhibited a series of legendary historical portraits featuring Cartier creations. Gallery 1 also housed creations from the Cartier Collection featuring some of the earliest iterations of their iconic collections.

Gallery 2 - Inspiration
Gallery 2 introduced a new dimension of portraiture, bringing to life modern day friends of the Maison wearing Cartier creations from all seven collections.

A series of black and white portraits by renowned British photographer Mary McCartney were projected on a floor to ceiling screen, for a fully immersive experience.

Gallery 3 - Studio
Gallery 3 was home to the Cartier Studio, a custom-built photography studio within the exhibition inviting Cartier lovers to be photographed wearing their favourite Cartier creations.

Gallery 4 - Encounters
Gallery 4 was a dynamic exhibition space where stories shared and portraits taken in the Cartier Studio came to life, awakening untold stories from the past. Photographs were unveiled in a moving display of portraits from the Cartier Studio, accompanied by personal anecdotes for each photograph.
