Second project in school. Birch legs, tabletop is mdf with birch veneer on sides, and wenge veneer on top and bottom. First time veneering. table top was cut using cnc. 

tabletop wenge veneer. Finished with 3 coats of semi-gloss lacquer. School's hydraulic press was out of use, so we had to press and glue the veneer using a sandwich method of two pieces of particleboad and many many hand clamps. Not optimal. Cutting off the excess veneer also turned out harder than imagined, possibly because the veneer had been stored for a long time and was a lot dryer than it was supposed to be. But for a first project, im happy how it turned out!
