Innovation in Bloom: A Celebration of Science

Pfizer commissioned the firm to design a temporary exhibit for the Garden’s Annual Gala, a major celebration for donors and stakeholders. Titled Innovation in Bloom, the exhibit was designed as a companion piece  to the Pfizer-sponsored Wild Medicine exhibit within the Conservatory. Set within sleek, LED-powered lightboxes – whose circular forms evoke the microscope-driven research that drives modern science – are chemical diagrams, portraits of scientists, and evocative microphotography that foreground Pfizer’s commitment to state-of-the-art science. Lining a processional tent beween Wild Medicine and Gala, diners also received a monograph version of the exhibit as a keepsake.

Based upon the success of the exhibit, the displays will be temporarily featured at Pfizer’s New York headquarters, followed by a permanent installation later this year in the company’s DC-area laboratory facilities.
