Regenerative Bike Stop | Forest Landscape

The plot is located in Poland in the south-eastern part of the Niepołomice Forest near Bochnia. The area surrounded by forest has high natural and landscape values. The location by the bicycle route leads to Czarny Staw and allows to see many historical points. The selected glade has an area of 1 ha and the space chosen for design purposes has an area of 0.14 ha.
The building fits into the forest landscape. The facade and utility elements, such as benches and tables, are made of wood. The shape of the building also refers to the surroundings, and more precisely to the shape of the glade on which it is located. The arragment of the walls are parallel to the edges of the glade, marked by the trees growing around.
The building is single-storey and has an entrance from the west side. Inside, there is a reception area combined with a kitchen and a table area, that has been extended to the south and glazed overlooking the open space, which brings a lot of sunlight into the interior. In the second part of the building there is a technical part with toilets.

TOTAL PLOT AREA: 1431 m2 = 100%
PAVED AREA: 259,6 m2 = 18,14%
AREA OF THE BUILDING: 217,3 m2 = 15,19%
BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE AREA: 954,1 m2 = 66,67%
