Juandertal -'s profile

Exaeretodon argentinus.

A traversodontid cynodont from the late Triassic of Brazil and Argentina. Member of a group close to the lineage ancestral to mammals, but still lacking typical mammalian traits like cartilaginous ears and nose, and probably bare-skinned. It was an herbivore the size of a pig, with massive jaw muscles, well defined incissors, canines and grinding molars.
