Dystopian Flowers

Dystopian Flowers
I wanted to express a futuristic world where nature is no longer natural, but man- made. Our society is already going into the direction of destroying our natural surroundings to create artificial replacements.

The material chosen for my project is Aluminium, which is the metal found in our beverage cans for daily life usage.

In order to eliminate waste, this material’s new purpose as jewelry is an ideal replacement of different metals.

Dystopian Flowers is a collection of contemporary jewelry pieces made with beverage cans to bring attention to our planet's overconsumption and lack of recycling problem.
