Boi de Mamão that could be translated as papaya bull, is one of the most famous festivals of the folklore of the city of Florianopolis, a city colonized by the people of the Azores ilands. 

With traditional singing and dancing the mythological creatures tell the story of a happy bull which dies and is resurrected by a healer witch.

The little cowboy is the owner of the bull who rejoices greatly when his bull resurrects.
