Nimbu ka Achaar (Pickled Lemons)
This lamp is tribute to the age old method of storing pickle in a ceramic ‘Barni’ (Jar). In India, the Barni is usually kept shut by a taut muslin cloth. This keeps the pickle ventilated and prevents it from going bad.
Here, the diffusion of light from the muslin cloth brings a glow to the room whereas the cutwork creates a dramatic effect.
