Prototype mechanism for a redesign of engagement ring cases. It's been designed to give an extra vertical pop when opened, to allow the ring to be one step closer to the soon-to-be bride. 

Mechanism was made using wood and magnets, while the casing can be be made more compact to allow for a shape that pleases the eye.
