2nd Year: Art Gallery at the Brooklyn Bridge Park

My precedent study for this project was the Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad, India by Charles Correa. The precedent inspired the layout, lighting conditions and water conservation system in my project. 
This design showcases three lighting conditions for displaying artefacts:
1) High exposure lighting
2) Diffused lighting
3) Ambient lighting

The sloped roofs guide rainwater towards U-shaped beams that border the peripheries of the roofs. These beams are slightly angled to channel the water into O-shaped columns, which are connected to pipes that lead to the central pond.
