Foundations Design Class 2014

These are all pieces created during my time in Todd Moores Design studio class:

1. "Florida" - This piece was created as a visual and sensory experience of where I went over spring break, Florida. The form of the piece resembles sagging skin to represent the overwhelming sense of mortality I felt, and the colors are all representative of senses and experiences I had while there.

2. This was done under the pretense of "cubes" and "still life". I took it in a more graphic and grafitti-esque direction while including moments of actual cubes as well. The whole piece was done in ink on found pizza boxes.
3. This is a digital collage in which I first took photos at three different times of day and then used Photoshop to splice them together. The aim of this piece was not to make a seamless photo, rather it was to illustrate a change over time.
