Music Festivals and single use tents
In this project an augmented reality (AR) poster will be developed to address the issue of mass consumption in relation to discarded tents at three day camping music festivals. Specific focus is placed on the discarding of tents due to the harmful impacts it has towards the environment. The aim is that the poster influences the viewer to stop abandoning their tents at music festivals. The purpose also is to educate viewers about the process of these tents ending up in landfill and the environmental impact of this. The main target audience is eighteen to twenty-five year old festival attendees and as such the project will be designed to appeal to this audience. The call to action of this project focuses of making the viewer feel responsible to spark change.
