Art Paper Technique is a fundamental knowledge about art paper; how to make paper, recycle paper, paper characteristics, and aesthetic elements of art paper. In this course, I made paper by recycling receipt paper. The paper was mixed with yellow watercolor, and I layered the paper mold so that the outcome of the paper could fold well.
The concept of this artwork is a narrative about periodic changes inspired by moon phases. When humans experience changes, they still encounter events that have the same patterns as the events they have already experienced. Here, I want to highlight the 'cycle' that occurs in humans and how enigmatic the process is, so the journey isn't always monotonous.
