Campaign - Dear, Acne

"How can we help Singaporean Youths suffering from acne during puberty to remain hopeful?"
Acne is a prevalent skin condition that many of us experience during our lifetime, especially during adolescence. However, it is often overlooked in the context of sexuality education implemented in secondary schools.

While puberty is emphasized, the topic of acne is often left unaddressed. This omission can leave students with unanswered questions about this condition. To provide comprehensive education, it is important to include information about acne in the curriculum, ensuring that students have access to accurate knowledge and support regarding this common skin issue.
Target Audience
Our target audience are youths aged 15 - 21 years old.

Client
The Health Promotion Board is a statutory board under the Ministry of Health of the Government of Singapore. We've decided to have them as our client is because of their tone of voice - nurturing and friendly.

Approach
We propose an immersive approach to our project through an exhibition booth and accompanying booklet. The exhibition booth aims to provide an engaging and educational experience, allowing visitors to both feel and learn. Meanwhile, the booklet will offer comprehensive information and skin tips, serving as a valuable takeaway for visitors after experiencing the booth.
To enhance engagement, our exhibition will feature two distinctively labeled doors, inviting students to explore and choose the entrance that resonates with them. This intentional design element encourages a sense of curiosity and allows each individual to select the door they feel most aligned with, fostering a personalized and immersive experience.

To ensure a diverse and thought-provoking experience, the two doors in our exhibition will lead to distinct sets of exhibitions. However, at the end of the exhibit, visitors will come together in a shared space where our core message is reinforced: regardless of one's skin condition, whether it's good or poor, every individual remains inherently equal and no different from others. This inclusive and empowering message serves as a unifying reminder of self-acceptance and the celebration of uniqueness.
We felt that just by using type to create our logo, it would be more effective. Using illustrations, some icons may come off a bit offensive.
Slogan: “Your skin, Your story, Your confidence.”

With this slogan, we want our audience to know that their skin has each unique story and confidence is always the key to anything they do. Everyone has different level of confidence but we are here to help improve on their self confidence by having this whole campaign.
Posters will be placed around the school to inform and encourage the students to visit the exhibition that are placed in their school halls.
