ESMO is a construction company that deals with steel frames and steel structures for buildings in general. My part in this piece was to develop a concept and a logo that I hope to clarify in the following.
ESMO é uma empresa que presta serviços na área de construção civil, mais especificamente no que se refere ao trabalho em aço. Minha parte no job foi criar a logo e o conceito e espero esclarecer as etapas necessárias para tal a seguir.
Formas
Before I started to draw some lines, I did some research to see if there is a pattern with steel structures when we talk about the building business. To my surprise, I discovered that triangular shapes offer the most stable type of structure. With that in mind, exploring the angles in the letter "E" was the path chosen to make a symbol.
Antes de começar a rabiscar, foi feita uma pesquisa sobre qualquer padrão na construção civil. Surpreendentemente descobri que o triangulo oferece uma das formas mais estáveis para trabalhar com juntas e ângulos. Tendo isso em mente, explorar os ângulos da letra "E" foi o caminho escolhido para criar um símbolo.
The color chosen refers to blueprints common to designs in the business. Also, the work with lines refers to the 45° angle in the representation of a 3D projection in a project design.
