The Little Valkyrie is a 2D scroller / hack 'n slash game. The objective of the game is to rescue the souls of slain vikings and guide them towards Valhalla. This prototype is programmed in Actionscript 3.0.
Your adventure begins with this sleepy viking's request to find his friends.
A helpful viking teaches the player how to execute combos.
Three basic attacks can be linked to a unique special attack. This is the uppercut!
The player may also use their shield to block enemy attacks.
This runic monolith can be used to guide souls to Valhalla.
Wolves like these will frequently block your path.
Each viking will reward the player with bonus life when they are brought to the landmark.
The vikings can be found in any order, you may also wait to deliver them and lead them as a pack.
The spin attack is particularly effective at dispatching mobs.
The spectral wolf will attack the player with a triple dash attack!
The Valkyrie has a dash attack of her own!
