Troh Bu - Buon Don is a fascinating destination that combines accommodations and culinary experiences in Dak Lak province, Vietnam. This location stands out for its indigenous culture and the colorful traditions of the E De people, who have lived there for centuries.
Troh Bu is known for its epic history of land discovery. The story is about a group of people who were searching for fertile land to escape from a severe and prolonged drought. They discovered a place surrounded by perennial streams, and while digging ponds to catch fish, they found a fountain with plenty of snakehead fish. It's like a gift from god, the villagers decided to settle down and establish a new village on this land, naming it Troh Bu - which means the valley of snakehead fish.
It was very important to me to create a brand identity that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also authentic and respectful to the rich and complex history as well as culture of the E De people. The history about the legend of the Snakehead Fish Valley, the E De's longhouse, and the art of traditional wood carving were particularly inspiring to me. These elements were incorporated into the brand image to reflect Troh Bu's unique identity and cultural heritage.
