Intel's Chief Futurist Brian David Johnson came to campus for a few days for a lecture and tour around the campus. I looked into him and found that he was also a Sci-fi and comics guy. His passion for Science Fiction led him to his career in analyzing and predicting how humans interact with technology. To promote his visit I took Hal 9000, a dystopic look into the future of home/spacecraft automation from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

After 9 years of being Champlain College's President, Dave Finney announced his retirement. To celebrate, Champlain Colege organized a barbecue to honor him and his work at the college. The photo was taken by yours truly of lake Champlain at sunset.

Samuel De Champlain led an expedition to map a good portion of new england. To honor the leaders of Champlain College, I took a photo of his statue on campus to represent the awards this year.

A weekend full of fun and mingling with fellow alum, which inlcluded a cruise on Lake Champlain!
