IDEA
A triptych of illustrations, created for a printmaking class at university, which evolved with further ideas. The illustrations show three magical worlds that come together one by one in the phases of the moon.
PROCESS
I started with sketches on paper. Then I used tracing paper to reflect the drawing onto the linoleum. I cut out the image with a chisel, painted with black special paint and reflected it on the press.
DIGITAL
Ultimately, the drawings were to be used only for linocut. However, I felt that the final result was missing something. It was the colour and the trippy background to match the theme. I used Procreate tools to make it more "me".
