Abstract Art with Glyphs
Final compositions that have been photoshopped onto a background.
This is my first project from my BYU-I online Typography course. For this project, I needed to create two pieces of abstract art using only glyphs and no color. I focused primarily on using negative space to create and accent the shapes. My hope is that each design highlights the differences between serif and sans-serif fonts.
This design focuses on the very straight lines of the sans-serif font Neue Haas Grotesk in bold.
This design focuses on the fun serifs of Stempel Garamond in roman.
