Kinetic Text Final Version

I chose this song because of it's visualy orientated lyrics, it's repetition and the piano tune which I thought had a nice rhythm.

I am very pleased with the final version of my project. Overall I found this to be a great experience and I was delighted to work on this project. For my final version I created new assests in Adobe Illustrator that I felt suited the day of the dead theme that emerged gradually from my work.

There are some things that I would like to go back and redo or add to such as the rising and falling sequence which could have used a camera move and alteration between its reuse during the song, but i feel that as a piece this version is visually appealing and adds to the song instead of distracting you from it.

I think the colour scheme compleements the feeling i got when listening to the song and that the font also adds to this. I found it hard to learn, create and then produce something of this scale in After Effects for the first time but I am glad that I did. One of my favourite elements in this is the green screen silhouette that I added of a fellow student, i think it is visually striking and suits the mood of the piece.

I do think that I could have used more camera moves and had more numerous and dynamic transitions, these are two things that I will definitely work on in this piece. There are many things I would have liked to add and I hope to return to this project over the next few months and enhance it.
