Address  Sabati Tranquility Park, Kampung Sungai Nada, 93350 Kuching, Sarawak
Duration  04 Oct 2021 - 11 Nov 2021

The Red Avenue, built as a functional as well as a multipurpose shelter.  The designs were taken from ideas of the direction and movement of crashing waves. Main purpose of this shelter is to create an enhancement to the park itself and brings out an energetic emotion into the space. Thus, the space are provided with an additional seating area to the park, a meeting point, stretching area and a viewing deck on the second floor.

The main highlight of the shelter is the three bright red structure that acts as a shade, brings out an energetic emotion with the flow and arrangement and as a site attraction to the park with its contrasting red against the green surrounding of the park.
As the waves crashes, it creates an upward motion and slightly curved as the wave hits the sea. Hence, simplified forms such as curves and straight lines were abstracted out to formed with a slight direction of moving upwards to depict the dynamics of the waves.
