Mid-Century Modern is an amazing and inspiring period of time. It begins with the post war years and follows with the “atomic ranch”. The new beginnings inspired people to create new designs for their home decor and it remains in trend nowadays because of its vintage appeal, inviting aesthetic, and warm tones. In this assignment I had the opportunity to research the age and aesthetic of the furniture and house decor and create an illustration in this style and apply it to a series of home elements to make them a collection.
