Background
KFF is the independent source publishing statistical information for health policies, polls and news covering various social topics.
In April 2023, KFF has released jaw-dropping information about Americans’ experience with gun-related violence.

Challenge
Illustrate statistical information to raise awareness for the problem. Find a design solution that would attract people and parents with children who may have a gun in their household and store it loaded/ with ammunition/ accessible to children.
Solution
Since the project was intended for the web only, I have stopped on a series of nine social media posts with a minimalistic three-colour palette and bold illustrations.
Each post conveys a single message and gradually leads the viewer form the problem (the number of people killed by a gun) to the cause (storing a loaded gun in an unlocked location that can be easily accessible to children under 18).
The project was carried out during the last three weeks of April 2023. I have received a lot of response mostly from people having children and residing in different countries. All of them have admitted that the information was alarming and required attention.
