According to kab.org, more than 50 billion with a "B" pieces of litter are all over roads and waterways in America. Literally just 2 weeks ago, I was in a drive through line at In-n-out burger and I saw through my side car mirror that the car behind me threw a plastic cup outside on a bush while waiting in the line. I was surprised that I witnessed that on time. It's too often that people especially American people litter all the time. Some people even litter everyday. 

Plastic is the worst for the environment. Plastic never decomposes so it's going to stay on the ground forever unless someone helps recycle it. It's visible and harmful for this planet. It soaks down into the soil where all your flowers, plants, fruits, and vegetables grow and can prevent them from growing at their full size. It also goes down to waterways and can land in the ocean which pollutes it and can kill many animals because they can choke on them according to Nationalgeographic.org. Plastic goes around all over this planet and it's harmful if people don't care and just recycle properly. This is why recycling bins and trash cans exist to prevent from not only making the planet ugly and messy, but harming it by so much. Alpha.wycokck.org states that people under the age of 30 litters the most, so it's best to teach everybody especially young people about how harmful plastic and littering is and to help choose to do things wisely and recycle.  

on my posters, I revealed a perspective of the reality of how our planet's ground looks like due to many people littering plastic all the time. We always see on top of the ground but I also wanted to show the inside. On the grass at the top, I included rotten decomposing fruits that has worms on them because they decompose into the ground or nature unlike plastic, which is why the fruits are on the top since it won't stay forever to soak deep down into the soil. The plastics are on the bottom of the soil because they never decompose so it stays in the soil forever. I also made the roots of the plants become my text/message.
