SUMMARY
This project features my visiting card and provides a detailed account of the ideation and creation process. The title,'राइ का पहाड़ बनाना' (To blow an issue or event out of proportion), is a satirical commentary on the documentation of the seemingly trivial and straightforward process of making a visiting card. Despite its simplicity, the process is meticulously documented as if it were a significant undertaking.

Ideation
The top center of each visiting card features a film photograph of a random image. This specific card showcases a couple posing on a street. These film photographs, dating from the 1970s to 1990s, were purchased from Sunday Market in Ahmedabad.
My intention in designing this card was to convey a message through the physical card itself, rather than relying solely on the text. As a visual designer, I aimed to utilize visuals themselves as a means of communication.
Boring Stuff
Front: The front of the card features a barcode of my phone number at the center. In an attempt to be both clever and descriptive, I opted for two different typefaces for the profession and name. The title is written in Bebas Neue, a sans-serif font with a geometric feel, while the name is in Playfair Display, a contrasting serif font with elegant curves. Together, these typefaces create a sense of contrast and dynamic range that reflects the nature of the profession.
Back: The back of the card features a QR code linking to my Behance portfolio, and below it is my email address written in Helvetica Regular font. The use of this font conveys the secondary nature of the information.
