The main objective of “i’m cookin’” campaign is to provide assistance to young hawkers by enhancing their exposure to the public through a food festival. I have observed that young hawker stalls encounter difficulties in sustaining themselves due to a lack of customers resulting in insufficient sales. The primary challenge faced by young hawkers is a lack of awareness as these stalls are not well-marketed to the public. Most people tend to make repeat purchases from stores they already know, which in turn leads to a shortage of sales for young and unknown businesses.

During the event, young hawkers will have the opportunity to promote their food and increase their exposure by selling smaller portions for people to taste and try. This approach is an effective way to raise awareness of their brand names and engage with the public.
