Hove Festival 2013 - Toilet Posters

This is a real client project for the Hove Festival, the biggest music festival in Norway. There were more than 60,000 visitors in 2013, so this got a lot of exposure.

The basis was that the festival had organised an SMS service for more efficient toilet cleaning. We were to promote this with posters hanging inside the festival toilets, letting the festival-goers know that if the toilet needed cleaning or paper renewal, they could tell the volunteers through this service. This needed to be done in a fun and effective way.

The project started from scratch, with few other directions than to follow the graphic profile of the festival. So there was a lot of wotrk to be done, in terms of strategic planning, copywriting, art direction, and pretty much everything needed for a poster campaign, except for media planning and buying.
"OK IN THE LOO?"

"OK IN THE LOO?
The pomegranate is the first known air freshener.
We don't have pomegranates, some other fruit might work?"
