These portraits are 2 from a series I created for We Are Purposeful's Disability Justice Report. They features Elizabeth and Monica, two activists whose interviews and writings are included in part of the report called 'Our Resistance', which can be found here. 

The portraits include border details inspired by each activists home country/city and their interests. 

Elizabeth Patricia Pérez (Eli) is an Indigenous feminist Mexican Disability Rights activist and human rights defender that works as a writer and community organiser.

Monica is a Sierra Leonean Disability Rights activist, journalist, and non-profit founder. In her personal and professional life, she is determined to challenge the norms and narratives facing people with disabilities, especially girls and women, in Sierra Leone.
