"The Bears Spring" is the concluding project of the BA in Performing Arts, featuring a collaboration of all the graduates. Our theme was the chain of the status quo in society, and we depicted the story in a fictional village in old Romania where a dance plague starts to affect the villagers. In this place where laughter is a sin and music is considered defamation, the dance breaks the status quo and challenges the closed-mindedness of the village. Through dance, we portrayed the scream for liberation from a castrated life. I contributed to the project as the curator and stylist for costumes and set design."
