This dress was made from 100% upcycled materials found at a thrift store, making it a form of sustainable design. It is made from 4 different garments: 2 dresses, a top, and pillow shams. The piece was inspired by Siberian shamans, who are spiritual leaders in Siberian culture.
This is the piece being modeled in the Weisman Art Museum's Fashion Show 'Elements: Siberia Reimagined' in April 2014.
