Paper: A Mini Photograph Series
Paper can be presented in many forms: Flat on a table, folded into origami, crushed into a ball, rolled into a tube, and so much more. This mini photo series aims to depict paper in various forms and arrangements, while simultaneously utilising lighting and camera properties, to let it convey certain themes and feelings.

FEAR
The paper was arranged in a manner to resemble a corridor and the light was angled to shine in a manner to make the corridor appear dark and ominous, which can usually instil a sense of fear into the viewer.

SPEED
The paper was arranged in a manner to allow very little light to shine through, using a flat piece of paper as a backdrop. The light can resemble something moving extremely fast and leaving streaks behind it, similar to those seen in drawings, which can showcase speed.

ROUGHNESS
The paper was crushed and spread out in a manner to resemble a desert, and by shining a light right against a seperate paper backdrop, it can resemble a sun overlooking the desert horizon. The picture is adjusted to have a more warm temperature to add to the desert appearance. Since deserts tend to be considered harsher places to be in, combining it with the appearance of the crushed paper, can give a sense of roughness to the viewer.

LOUDNESS
The paper was folded into a tube and light was shone into it. By making the light shining though the tube much brighter than the surroundings it brings a lot of visual attention to it. Without even using audio, it can give off the feeling of loudness.

SILENCE
The paper was gently arranged in a manner that resembles waves. and by arranging the light from the right distance away from the backdrop, it can resemble a moon with soft, glowing moonlight. Adjusting the photo to a more cool temperature allows it to look like the scene is taking place at night. The photo resembling a view of the sea at night can give a sense of silence.

UNIFORMITY
The paper was folded to resemble a staircase and propped up against a flat piece of paper to serve as a wall. Due to the nature of stairs being similar and repeating, it can showcase uniformity.

BEAUTY
The paper was folded in a manner to resemble a woman wearing a fancy dress, utilising a small piece of crushed paper to serve as her hair. After propping the light source against a paper wall, the "woman" is placed in front of the direct source to block it and create a "glowing" effect around her to make her look more prominent. The dark atmosphere is also meant to create a somewhat romantic atmosphere, and all of it can be encompassed to showcase beauty.

STORM
The paper was crushed and propped up and was intended to resemble storm clouds, but the rigid form makes it bear more resemblance to a cove entrance viewed from inside said cove. Another piece of paper was arranged to resemble the sea. By arranging the light in the right position, the upper half of the paper backdrop resembles the darker storm clouds while the lighter bottom half resembles the clouds on the horizon. The photo also uses a cooler temperature to give it a darker vibe. All of this cumulates to make the scene within the picture showcase a storm.
