The Brief: One-line illustrations for a German wine exporter's Annual Shareholder's Report.

I created the line drawings (below), they added the photographic elements (above)

I so enjoy these one-line challenges; I really do endeavor to make them a single line. It becomes a bit of a puzzle, and is so gratifying when I solve the various approaches without "cheating"

I just love how they came out; the creative approach to the photo backings works so beautifully to offset the lines without overwhelming them.

Below is an insight into the process: I had created the sketch in the center; they sent back the feedback that they'd like to see more facial details, and also that they should be holding wine glasses rather than frothy mugs, The revised sketch shown below the original worked well!

A really wonderful project; great process start to finish, and I'm so chuffed about how it came out!
