Thawcrook is an album by folk musicians Rebecca Hill and Charlie Stewart. The album is named after an ancient tool discovered in the Scottish highlands, traditionally used to create rope from the materials available on the land. The artwork and layout was created to reflect the paired back, organic nature of the music - combining analogue materials with digital drawing.
The artwork maps the route to each of the musicians hometowns; connected by a road illustrated with golden rope. Elements of the map feature through the album layout, and are scattered across the artwork for their single release 'Out on the Roof'.
