A sophisticated reinterpretation of Shinhwa's T.O.P lyrics by ATEEZ
"At the KBS Gayo Daechukjae 2022 music festival, ATEEZ performed a reinterpretation of the legendary SHINHWA's hit song "T.O.P". During his rap verse, member Hongjoong changed one line of the lyrics to "This is how we do, guys better know". The original lyrics of the song contained the sensitive word "n****", which is related to racial discrimination. Prior to this, Hongjoong had also changed many lyrics when covering songs to better fit the image of the group."
