This is a illegal temporary housing attatched to a main building, in a sub street. This kind of housings in China, especially in the modern city like Guangzhou, is illegal and should be demolished according to the government. 

 

Yet they are the result of the people's creativity. Walls built with collection of wasted wood boards, old style windows,  chinese particular steel bars, iron sheets. Collectively they build an art of design, a floating boat in a serene river.
