In today's society, it seems to be common to focus on your own appearance as well as that of others in order to act and get a head start. Examples include weight loss, make-up, fitness, cosmetic surgery, medical aesthetics, styling, and temperament enhancement. Appearance anxiety is a concept that sounds like low self-esteem and lack of confidence. Absolutely, the commercialization of this is what is causing the idea of beauty worry to catch on.
