Torony have been designed by a team composed of three students in architecture and the architectural office DOP architecture in Budapest for a competition concerning the Hungarian pavillon for the Biennale of architecure of Venice 2014.

The purpose of the competiton is to create a amenagement of the inner courtyard of the pavillon. Torony, tower in Hungarian is an architectural object creating a space in the inner courtyard. The two main elements of the structure are wooden pine sticks of 45cm lenght and 2mm of diameter and plastic calble ties.
 
Budget of the competition: 500 000 forints = 1600 € 
Duration of the construction: 5 days of with 5 workers
